Collectible(s) Art On A Budget

I like to collect stuff. Not because I like having stuff but because, as a visual person, I like looking at stuff. An old camera on a shelf can be sorta fun to look at.  But a bunch of old cameras sitting on a  shelf (or several shelves!) is a collection! Problems arise when the junk objects of one’s visual pleasure are too big to stick on a shelf. Like old tractors. Or vintage signs.

If you’re rich, you could buy a big building and put in big shelves for your big stuff. But if you’re an un-rich artist, you could paint little works of art of the stuff you like to look at. Or, if you’re none of the above,  you could find an artist who does. (Ahem!)

The slideshow above shows little dimensional paintings I’ve done, 7″ to 10″, priced $95 to $150 each.  You might have seen these here before. Some of them are now in other peoples’ collections. And more are in the works. Stay tuned.
