New studio!

For years, I worked out of converted bedrooms or spare rooms over the garage. These spaces affected how I worked. Limited or shared space often meant making smaller-sized pieces. The cramped space made working on several projects at once difficult and clumsy.

Now, I’ve had the opportunity to create my own creative space. It is set within the barn at the back of our property. The room is essentially a bare-bones wooden box without windows. Daylight LEDs keep the lighting consistent day and night, regardless of outside conditions. The larger room allows for expanded projects. More counters and shelves keep ongoing projects visible and available. Just outside, there is an area with heavy-duty workbenches for assemblage construction and woodworking. This no-frills environment helps to focus my attention on the work.
