New studio. New look.

Don't look at the boxes. Don't look at the mess. Think: Potential. Keep saying it: Potential, potential, potential,,,

I’ve been MIA from the art scene too long.

I’ve been busy.

Moving.

We sold the farm. That means, someone bought the farm. (Sorry. Sometimes I can’t help myself.)

It also means no more cool studio with a view from Gid Moon Hill. But it also means no more endless rides on the mower or tractor tending to all the growing stuff carpeting Gid Moon Hill. Come to think of it, I mostly enjoyed that view from the seat of a mower or tractor instead of the studio. Too much farm. Too little art. Had to make a choice.

So we moved.

It’s a comfy house in a nice little neighborhood that’s surrounded by woods and farms and a pasture to put our horse.

It also has this great space above the garage for a studio. With a door that shuts out distractions. It has potential.

The garage downstairs holds a new lawnmower.

But I can mow the lawn in 15 minutes.

  1. Having just moved my house and studio this summer too, I feel your pain Skip!! I think it will be worth it though, once it is all unpacked. It looks like a great space. Can’t wait to see photos of it when it is all set up someday. 🙂
